I am throwing a party soon and am looking into little treats to give my guests. I love giving them all something to take home with them and this time I have decided to make some sweets. I have found this great recipe for chocolate truffles and thought that if I could either get some really pretty candy bags or some boxes then I could make them a small pretty parcel to take home. I have been taking a look through some websites and catalogues to see which would be best and although I really like the look of the gift boxes I would rather have something see through so that my guests can see what I am giving them. I plan to roll the truffles in coloured or chocolate sugar strands, cocoa powder and icing sugar so they all look really pretty and so I would rather they could see them. Therefore I have been looking at the range of cellophane bags that are available with the idea that I can pretty them up with some curled ribbons. There are some with a tiny bit of pattern on but I have decided to really show off my sweets by getting a completely transparent one and then using some coloured ribbons to match the colours of the chocolate decorations so it all matches.
