My Gran has been reading about life insurance settlements and has been wondering whether it will be a good option for her to pay for her retirement. She is living on her own at the moment and is pretty healthy but realistically she knows that she will not always manage on her own. She does not have a great deal of money and would like to leave her house to her children and so does not like the idea of selling it to pay for any health care and care home costs. She has heard about senior settlements and hopes that her insurance will be of a great enough value to enable her to have enough money to pay for all of her expenses. I am helping her to find a life settlement company to help her to get a good sum of money in exchange for her policy and hopefully we can settle it quickly so she no longer needs to worry about money. It is a shame to see someone so old and and frail worrying about money when she has worked hard all of her life. She deserves to happy in her retirement and hopefully by doing this, she will be.
